Shore evaluation

Shore, launched in September 2023 by the Lucy Faithfull Foundation, is a safe space for teenagers concerned about their own or someone else’s sexual thoughts and behaviour.

Shore offers clear and reliable information about harmful sexual behaviour and confidential and anonymous support from our experienced advisors through the chat and email service.

Thank you for your interest in supporting our evaluation!

We are completing an evaluation of Shore to understand how it is being used and explore young people and professionals’ responses to the site. We will use what we learn to continue to make improvements to the site, to make sure it is meeting young people’s needs. We will also publish our findings so other people and organisations can see what we have learnt.

The survey:

In the survey we will ask you a series of questions about your experience of using the Shore website and your opinions about the site. We are not collecting any identifiable information, so any responses you provide will be entirely anonymous. This means that it will not be possible to withdraw your responses after you complete the survey because we will not be able to identify the data you submitted.

We will store all the information you share with us anonymously and securely. After we have completed our evaluation we will publish our findings to share what we have learnt. This will help us and others improve services for young people.

If you would like to find out more about how we collect and store your information please take a look at our Privacy Policy

Please answer the questions as carefully and honestly as you can. You don’t have to answer any questions you don’t want to, and you may stop at any time.

If you have any questions about this survey or how your responses may be used, please contact Rachel Haynes, senior practitioner at the Lucy Faithfull Foundation, on
